Lakshmi Surabhi is the Founder & CEO of Opal Minds LLC.
With over 28 years of experience in Software Engineering leadership in IoT, Transportation and Digital Transformation, Lakshmi is committed to bringing solutions that have a positive impact on Earth.
Prior to founding OpalMinds, she was VP Software Engineering at ORBCOMM and was responsible for overseeing the technical vision and strategy of the software in the company. She led the consolidation of products from a dozen acquisitions into a single SaaS platform, the success of which led to a billion dollar Private Equity firm investment into ORBCOMM in 2021. Prior to that, she led the SkyBitz Platform development right from the first customer asset to over a quarter million assets, making SkyBitz the market leader in Dry Trailer Tracking in the US.
